My name is Carolyn Piwowar. I’m both elated and honored
to run the Boston Marathon with the Matty Eappen Foundation. I’m 41 years old and I teach high school Spanish. I started running a year and a half ago and for those of you who know me, it’s been a goal of mine to run the Boston Marathon. I wanted to run with the Matty Eappen Foundation because I envy their ability to turn something positive out of something tragic. I, too, know the loss of an immediate family member and have never been able to turn that tragedy into a sense of purpose. I figured I would run with an organization that was able to do so. Please support me and, in doing so, the Matty Eappen Foundation. See you April 15 th!
