To the left is a photo of my last year's finish at the Big Sur Marathon --- 13 days after the hot 2012 Boston Marathon. This is my favorite photo with our first grandchild, Sam, and my daughter, Kara. Sam will be walking with us across the finish line this year. As a Sudbury, MA resident of many years, I have been running the Boston race for 30 years. I am lucky to be among a handful of runners who have completed the Boston:to:Big Sur event for the last three years.

And I am lucky to be on the Matty Eappen Team. Our Sudbury United Methodist Church has helped to contribute to the Foundation. Our church also benefits by distributing Matty Eappen educational material to the church's Sunny Hill Preschool and the parents, teachers and their friends.
